ADVENTURE FOLD-UP'· Figures
What we give you: With this set of ADVENTURE FOLD-UP� Figures you get four sheets of cardboard to create 3-D figures.
What you need to get: You need SCissors and paper clips. Depending upon how you want to hold the ligures together you will need either glue or tape. Read ALL the instructions before beginning to put together the figures.
How 10 put together MARVEL SUPER HEROES'· ADVENTURE FOLD-UP Figures
1) Cut out the figures. On the four cardboard sheets are 120 Marvel Comics Group figures. Each is surrounded by a heavy black line and some light black lines. Cut along the heavy line, NOT along the light lines.
2) Fold the ligures. Your cut out figure should have three light lines on it, Fold Ihe cardboard on each light line so that the picture is on the outside,
Hint: It you have trouble making a straight fold, use a ruler. Put the ruler on the.back of the cut out figure. line up the light line with the edge 01 the ruler and press down until a straight crease appears,
3) Glue or tape the Uap. One of the lour panels on the cut out figure IS labeled "GLUE HERE." Put a small dab 01 glue on this panel.
Hint: II you want to be able to take apart the stand-Up . use tape or a paper clip to hold the tigure together
4) Attach the back flap. Fold the cardboard until the "GLUE HERE" panel is hidden by the panel showing the figure's back. The figure should look like a hoi· low triangular tube.
Hint: For a good fit make sure that the edge of Ihe figure tits tight against the crease.
5) Paper clip the back,

To hold the figure while the glue dries, put a paper clip on the back panel so that it holds the stand·up together.
1f the stand-ups fall over. tape a penny to the bottom. This provides some e)(tra weight and helps prevent the stand-up from tipping over,
How to use MARVEL SUPER HEROES AOVENTURE FOLO-UP-' Figu res
In the game bo)( you were given some card· board punch·out counters. Each depicted a Marvel Comics Group hero or villain and had an arrow in one corner.
These stand-Ups replace most of those counters lor use in the game. The stand-up is triangular with the character facing one of the points of the triangle. That corner is used just like the arrows are used with the Ilat counters in the original game. It shows e)(aclly the character's location on the map.
If a hero or villain is on the ground. just lay the stand-up down on the map. II you look at the pictures on each lace you will notice that he can be on his back or on his stomach.
